Building blocks
In this work I decided to take the metaphorical building block literally. The way in which I seemed to have to develop in society was fairly homogeneous in economic terms, but the sustainability of that construction method was completely absent. In the search for a different type of building block, I cut the dimensions of a classic building block from several found or purchased bricks.
Since no new shape gave firm grip, I decided to show the unstability of our current building stones by letting them melt away. I reproduced the stones in ice and then let them react upon each other. Either by putting them together, or in a stand, causing the melting water to deform the other stones.
